  1. I love the idea of taking out time to celebrate love but not the over the top spectacle that you have to spend a ton of money

  2. yea yea yea! :)

For the most part it’s just another day — I would hag to say it depends on the person I’m with and my mood that particular day. !! (I’d rather celebrate on Saturday)

I already have an e-reader but I would love to read some of your stuff (I love learning about new authors!)

  6. I love this holiday. I love the things my BF does. He doesn’t go out on a limb or spend alot of money he just makes the day special with the little things.

Generally, NAY. I adore my hubby, but I think there’s so much buildup and pressure and commercialism to make V Day this extraordinary day. I like that my hubby shows me in small ways, on many days throughout the year, that he loves me. I don’t need the grand gesture.catherinelee100 at gmail dot com

  9. I think it depends if you have a SO or not. I hated Valentine’s Day when I was single and would regularly call in sick so I wouldn’t have to put up with people.

I am indifferent. I think people shouldn’t only spend one day a year showing that they love someone.

  13. Valentine’s Day was great when the chitlins were younger. We celebrated with the little ones.

  14. For whatever reason I’m usually not in a relationship during this holiday so it’s not too fun usually. But I do like any excuse to eat chocolate lol

  15. Yea!

  20. Thank you for the chance to win.Valentine’s Day?? Absolutely!

  21. I actually really love it. I don’t understand the anti-valentines-day thing. Is it commercialized? Heck yes. But I’ve found that like most things in life… it’s all about what you make of it. :)

Love means not having to say you’re sorry you didn’t get them a card, or candy, or flowers, or dinner, or . . . wait, where are you going?
Drat, I guess that didn’t go well now, did it?

    Sigh.

    Happy Valentine’s Day all!
    Great giveaway!

  23. It doesn’t matter to me either way. It’s just another day to me. The hubs does nice things for me all the time so I don’t feel like he has to do anything special on V-Day.

    One big resounding yay! :D

  25. Hmm, I suppose I’m indifferent to Valentine’s. Well, I guess I’ll say ‘yea’, there is a lot of candy around at that time. :)

  26. What a great giveaway! I’ve got a Kobo and love it, so you can send me books, if I win!

  27. Yay! Great time to be appreciated–hubby has no excuse!

  28. Nay…would rather he brought me flowers or chocolate or something on a random day than because a calendar says so

  29. I love playing cupid… leaving little gifts and presents to friends and family that aren’t blessed with a special person in the middle of February. I have a sweet romantic husband that always surprises me and I really enjoy surprising others.

  30. I’m leaning more towards nay, because why you need calendar day to remember your lover with random gifts or remember your friends. It’s much more sweet and loving to randomly give a gift for a lover or a friend – they’ll appreciate it much more.

  31. I love anything that results in me getting flowers and candy. Two of my favorite things! Thanks! :)

  32. nay..its just another day of the week. ;)

  33. Love Valentine’s Day, but keep it simple.

  34. I am not yea or nea about Valentine’s Day. This year my hubby and I are just going out to lunch together. Just the two of us. Most years we just wish each other a happy Valentine’s Day. I believe in expressing the love every day.

It is a big Nay for me. I think when I was younger I built it up into some magical romantic holiday and was never lucky enough to meet someone to live up to my expectations for it. I prefer to ignore it now rather than be disappointed!
    Happy Belated Valentine’s Day,
